Part I - Facial expressions A.In the first painting, the girl seems to be emotionless attitude with her face sideways with her back straight as if she is walking somewhere. B. In the second painting, the girl seems to be in some sort of stress with her facial expressions tensed as well as her shoulders being lifted and collar bones showing. - Technique A. I think it varies on the canvas used, but the first painting looks like it was used many thick brushes on the skin and the paint not being too wet adding a little bit of texture to the clothing and skin, with mostly bright colors such as blue and other colors to create the mood of the painting B. The second painting uses what looks like to be a darker tint of coors, also helps express the expressions used in the facial region, the mood shows to be tensed, which uses the dark brown/tan colors to create the mood. - Role with the colors A. though both paintings have a red background, the first one has black mixed in ...
